حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْجُودِيِّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِي كَرِبَ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

أَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ أَضَافَ قَوْمًا، فَأَصْبَحَ الضَّيْفُ مَحْرُومًا، [فَإِنَّ حَقًّا] عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ نَصْرَهُ، حَتَّى يَأْخُذَ بِقِرَى لَيْلَتِهِ مِنْ زَرْعِهِ وَمَالِهِ.

✧ Any Muslim who hosts a people, and the guest wakes up in the morning deprived [of hospitality], then it is a right upon every Muslim to help him until he takes the hospitality of his night from his crops and his wealth.
