✧ al-`Arbadh bin Sariyah on the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ الْكَلْبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى بْنِ هِلَالٍ السُّلَمِيِّ عَنْ عِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِنِّي عِنْدَ اللهِ لَخَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّينَ، وَإِنَّ آدَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ لَمُنْجَدِلٌ فِي طِينَتِهِ، وَسَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِأَوَّلِ ذَلِكَ دَعْوَةُ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَبِشَارَةُ عِيسَى بِي، وَرُؤْيَا أُمِّي الَّتِي رَأَتْ، وَكَذَلِكَ أُمَّهَاتُ النَّبِيِّينَ تَرَيْنَ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am the servant of Allah and the last of the prophets. Even Adam, ﷺ, was created from clay. I will inform you of the first call of my father Ibrahim, the glad tidings of my brother Isa, and the vision my mother saw, as well as the mothers of the prophets who also had visions."
