حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدٌ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ نَحْوَ هَذَا قَالَ

وَكَانَ أَبُو مَسْعُودٍ أَصْغَرَهُمْ سِنًّا. <متن_مخفي ربط="8171621" نص="انْطَلَقَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ الْعَبَّاسُ عَمُّهُ إِلَى السَّبْعِينَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ عِنْدَ الْعَقَبَةِ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ فَقَالَ لِيَتَكَلَّمْ مُتَكَلِّمُكُمْ وَلَا يُطِيلُ الْخُطْبَةَ فَإِنَّ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ عَيْنًا وَإِنْ يَعْلَمُوا بِكُمْ يَفْضَحُوكُمْ فَقَالَ قَائِلُهُمْ وَهُوَ أَبُو أُمَامَةَ سَلْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ لِرَبِّكَ مَا شِئْتَ ثُمَّ سَلْ لِنَفْسِكَ وَلِأَصْحَابِكَ مَا شِئْتَ ثُمَّ

Translation

✧ Abu Mas'oud was the youngest of them. <hidden_text link="8171621" text="The Prophet ﷺ set out with his uncle al-Abbas to the seventy of the Ansar at al-Aqabah under the tree. He said: Let your speaker speak and not prolong the sermon, for the polytheists have an eye on you, and if they learn of you they will expose you. Their speaker, who was Abu Umamah, said: Ask, O Muhammad, for your Lord whatever you wish, then ask for yourself and your companions whatever you wish, then..."/>
