حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍالْهُنَائِيُّ بَصْرِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

مَنْ جَهَّزَ غَازِيًا فَقَدْ غَزَا، وَمَنْ خَلَفَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ فَقَدْ غَزَا

Zaid bin Khalid al Juhani reported that Apostle of Allaah ﷺ as saying “He who equips a fighter in Allaah’s path has taken part in the fighting. And he looks after a fighter’s family when he is away has taken part in the fighting.” (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2509)

    يرويه أبو إسحاق الفزاري عن الأوزاعي عن يحيى بهذا الإسناد والصحيح عن يحيى عن أبي سلمة عن بسر بن سعيد عن زيد بن خالد الجهني

    machine translationAbū Isḥāq al-Fazārī narrates it from al-Awzāʿī, from Yaḥyā, with this chain of transmission (isnād). But the sound (ṣaḥīḥ) report is from Yaḥyā, from Abū Salamah, from Busr b. Saʿīd, from Zayd b. Khālid al-Juhanī.
