✧ We entered upon Abu Ubaydah to visit him when he was ill. He said, 'I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Whoever spends an excellent expenditure in the way of Allah, it is multiplied by seven hundred. Whoever spends on himself or on his family, or visits a sick person, or removes something harmful from the road, it is a good deed multiplied by ten. Fasting is a shield, so long as one does not break it. And whoever Allah tests with an affliction in his body, it is an expiation for him."'
