✧ Aws bin Aws on the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ عَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيِّ قَالَ

مَنْ غَسَّلَ وَاغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ، فَدَنَا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ وَاسْتَمَعَ وَلَمْ يَلْغُ كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ أَجْرُ سَنَةٍ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا

✧ Whoever performs ghusl and washes himself on Friday, goes early and arrives early, walks and does not ride, comes near the imam and listens and does not engage in idle talk, will have for every step the reward of a year of fasting and praying at night.
