✧ 'Uqba said - Ibn Abi 'Adi said: He came to Maslama b. Mukhallad in Egypt, and there had been something between him and the doorkeeper. He heard his voice and gave him permission. He said: "I have not come to you as a visitor, but I have come to you for a need. Do you remember the day when 'Abbad said in his hadith: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever knows of a bad deed of his brother and conceals it, Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will conceal him by it on the Day of Resurrection'?" He said: "Yes." He said: "For this I have come." Ibn Abi 'Adi said in his hadith: 'Uqba b. 'Amir rode to Maslama b. Mukhallad while he was governor over Egypt.
