✧ I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ while he was addressing the people at al-Khayf: “May God brighten a servant who hears my speech, comprehends it, then conveys it to one who has not heard it. For many a bearer of understanding has no understanding, and many a bearer of understanding conveys it to one more understanding than him. Three things upon which the heart of a believer does not harbor resentment: sincerity of action, obedience to those in authority, and adhering to the community; for their supplication encompasses them from behind.”
