قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ الْهِلَالِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي أُمُّ أَبِي رَبِيعَةُ بِنْتُ عِيَاضٍ الْكِلَابِيَّةُعَنْ جَدِّهَا عَبِيدَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْكِلَابِيِّ قَالَ
رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَأَسْبَغَ الطُّهُورَ. وَكَانَتْ هِيَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَتْ أَسْبَغَتِ الطُّهُورَ حَتَّى تَرْفَعَ الْخِمَارَ، فَتَمْسَحَ عَلَى رَأْسِهَا.

✧ I saw the Prophet ﷺ performing wudu, and he did the purification thoroughly. She, when she performed wudu, would do the purification thoroughly, to the point that she would lift her head covering and wipe over her head.
