✧ Horses are three: a horse a man keeps in the way of God, Mighty and Majestic—its price is reward, its riding is reward, its lending is reward, and its fodder is reward; a horse on which a man gambles and bets—its price is sin and its fodder is sin; and a horse for fattening—perhaps it may be a protection from poverty, if God, Exalted, wills.
