حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ حِلْفَ الْمُطَيَّبِينَ مَعَ عُمُومَتِي وَأَنَا غُلَامٌ، فَمَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ لِي حُمْرَ النَّعَمِ، وَأَنِّي أَنْكُثُهُ

✧ About the Prophet ﷺ, he said, "I witnessed the oath of allegiance of the Muta'ibeen (a group of people) while I was still a young boy. I do not desire to have red camels, but I shall fulfill my vows."
