حَدَّثَنَا قُرَّانُ بْنُ تَمَّامٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ الْيَمَامِيِّ عَنْ إِيَاسِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
خَرَجْتُ مَعَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فِي غَزَاةِ هَوَازِنَ فَنَفَّلَنِي جَارِيَةً، فَاسْتَوْهَبَهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، فَبَعَثَ بِهَا إِلَى مَكَّةَ، فَفَدَى بِهَا أُنَاسًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

✧ I went out with Abu Bakr on the expedition against Hawazin, and he gave me a slave girl as booty. The Messenger of God ﷺ asked me for her as a gift, and he sent her to Makkah, and ransomed with her some Muslims.
