حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بنِ غَزِيَّةَ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ تَمِيمٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ اسْتَسْقَى وَعَلَيْهِ خَمِيصَةٌ لَهُ سَوْدَاءُ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ بِأَسْفَلِهَا فَيَجْعَلَهُ أَعْلَاهَا، فَثَقُلَتْ عَلَيْهِ فَقَلَبَهَا عَلَيْهِ الْأَيْمَنُ عَلَى الْأَيْسَرِ وَالْأَيْسَرُ عَلَى الْأَيْمَنِ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed for rain while wearing a black woolen cloak of his. He wanted to take hold of its lower edge and make it the upper edge, but it was heavy for him, so he turned it over, flipping the right side to the left and the left side to the right.
