حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَشْيَاخِهِمْ قَالَ قَالَ هِشَامُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ لِجِيرَانِهِ
إِنَّكُمْ لَتَخَطَّوْنَ إِلَى رِجَالٍ مَا كَانُوا بِأَحْضَرَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَلَا أَوْعَى لِحَدِيثِهِ مِنِّي، وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: مَا بَيْنَ خَلْقِ آدَمَ إِلَى قِيَامِ السَّاعَةِ أَمْرٌ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِ

✧ "You are going to men who were not more present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ nor more attentive to his hadith than I was. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'There is no matter greater between the creation of Adam and the coming of the Hour than the Dajjal.'"
