حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُثَنَّى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلِ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ جَاءَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَقَالَ: صَلُّوا عَلَى أَخٍ لَكُمْ مَاتَ بِغَيْرِ أَرْضِكُمْ قَالُوا: مَنْ هُوَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: " صَحْمَةُ النَّجَاشِيُّ " فَقَامُوا، فَصَلَّوْا عَلَيْهِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day and said: "Pray over a brother of yours who died outside your land." They said: "Who is he, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Sahmah the Negus." So they stood and prayed over him.
