✧ "That people did such a thing with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Abdullah Ibn Abbas heard about it and said: 'And what does Ibn Zubayr know about this? Let him return to his mother Asma bint Abi Bakr and ask her. If Zubayr did not return to her lawfully and they consummated the marriage, then it would be permissible'. So, this was conveyed to Asma, and she said: 'May Allah forgive Ibn Abbas! By Allah, he has spoken the truth. They married and consummated the marriage, and they had sexual relations with the women.'"
