machine translationʿAṭāʾ b. al-Sāʾib narrated it, and there is disagreement about him. Yaḥyā b. Kathīr or al-Naḍr narrated it from ʿAṭāʾ b. al-Sāʾib, from Zādhān, from Ibn ʿUmar. Ḥammād b. Salamah said: from ʿAṭāʾ, from Zādhān, from one who heard the Prophet ﷺ. Asbāṭ b. Muḥammad said: from ʿAṭāʾ, from [unclear]. Ibn Fuḍayl said: from ʿAṭāʾ, from Zādhān, as his own saying. Salamah b. Kuhayl said: from ʿAṭāʾ, from Zādhān and Ṭāwūs, as their own saying. And al-Ḥasan b. Ṣāliḥ said: from ʿAṭāʾ, from a man, from the Prophet ﷺ, not mentioning Zādhān or anyone else, and this is the more likely.
