حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ بْنِ نِيَارٍ

أَنَّهُ ذَبَحَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ. قَالَ: إِنِّي لَا أَجِدُ إِلَّا جَذَعَةً، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَذْبَحَ.

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ commanded him to slaughter, so he said, "I can only find a trunk." So the Prophet ﷺ commanded him to slaughter it.
