✧ 'Umar b. al-Khattab entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while some women of Quraysh were with him, asking him and seeking more from him, raising their voices. When they heard 'Umar's voice they recoiled and fell silent. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed. 'Umar said: "O enemies of your own selves, you fear me but do not fear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" They said: "You are harsher and rougher than the Messenger of Allah." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O 'Umar, no devil meets you taking a mountain pass but he takes a pass other than yours."
