✧ Umm Mubashshir said to Ka'b b. Malik while he was ill: "Convey my greetings to my son," meaning Mubashshir. He said: "May Allah forgive you, O Umm Mubashshir! Have you not heard what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The soul of a Muslim is a bird that hangs in the trees of Paradise until Allah, Mighty and Majestic, returns it to his body on the Day of Resurrection'?" She said: "You speak the truth. I seek Allah's forgiveness."
