قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنِي جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَمْلَاهُ مِنْ كِتَابِهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْجُمَحِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ

رَوْحَةٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ غَدْوَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا. وَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: مَوْضِعُ سَوْطٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا

✧ An evening in the path of God or a morning is better than the world and what it contains. And the Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'The place of a whip in Paradise is better than the world and what it contains.'
