حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ جَاهِمَةَ
أَنَّ جَاهِمَةَ جَاءَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرَدْتُ الْغَزْوَ، وَجِئْتُكَ أَسْتَشِيرُكَ. فَقَالَ: هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ أُمٍّ ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ، فَقَالَ: الْزَمْهَا، فَإِنَّ الْجَنَّةَ عِنْدَ رِجْلِهَا، ثُمَّ الثَّانِيَةَ، ثُمَّ الثَّالِثَةَ فِي مَقَاعِدَ شَتَّى كَمِثْلِ هَذَا الْقَوْلِ
Translation

✧ Jahimah came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I intended to go on a military expedition and I came to consult you." He said: "Do you have a mother?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Stay with her, for Paradise is at her feet," then the second time, then the third time, in different sittings, with similar words.
