✧ The people of Kufa complained about Sa'd to Umar. They said: 'He does not perform prayer well.' He said: 'The Bedouins? By Allah, I do not fall short in following the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the Zuhr and Asr prayers. I prolong the first two rak'ahs and shorten the last two.' I heard Umar say: 'That is what was thought of you, O Abu Ishaq.'
