حَدَّثَنَا هَوْذَةُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ حَدَّثَنِي حَدِيثًا رَفَعَهُ إِلَى أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ قَالَ

حَضَرْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَصَلَّى فِي قِبَلِ الْكَعْبَةِ، فَخَلَعَ نَعْلَيْهِ، فَوَضَعَهُمَا عَنْ يَسَارِهِ، ثُمَّ اسْتَفْتَحَ سُورَةَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ ذِكْرُ عِيسَى أَوْ مُوسَى أَخَذَتْهُ سَعْلَةٌ فَرَكَعَ

✧ I was present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the Day of the Conquest, and he prayed in front of the Ka'bah. He took off his sandals and placed them to his left. Then he began Surah al-Mu'minun. When the mention of Isa or Musa came, he was seized by a cough and bowed.
