حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ ذَرٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي الْفَجْرِ فَتَرَكَ آيَةً، فَلَمَّا صَلَّى قَالَ: أَفِي الْقَوْمِ أُبَيُّ بْنُ كَعْبٍ ؟ قَالَ أُبَيٌّ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، نُسِخَتْ آيَةُ كَذَا وَكَذَا، أَوْ نَسِيتَهَا ؟ قَالَ: نُسِّيتُهَا

✧ The Prophet ﷺ prayed the dawn prayer and omitted a verse. When he had finished praying, he said: Is Ubayy b. Ka'b among the people? Ubayy said: O Messenger of Allah, has such-and-such a verse been abrogated, or did you forget it? He said: I forgot it.
