✧ The foot of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was injured, so we entered upon him, and he came out to us—or we found him in his room sitting in front of a raised platform—and he prayed sitting while we stood behind him and prayed. When he finished the prayer, he said: 'If I pray sitting, then pray sitting; and if I pray standing, then pray standing; and do not stand as the Persians stand for their tyrants or their kings.'
