حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ
إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَسَقَطَتْ لُقْمَتُهُ فَلْيُمِطْ مَا أَرَابَهُ مِنْهَا، ثُمَّ لِيَطْعَمْهَا وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ وَلَا يَمْسَحْ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ حَتَّى يَلْعَقَ يَدَهُ فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَا يَدْرِي فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِهِ يُبَارَكُ لَهُ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَرْصُدُ ابْنَ آدَمَ عِنْدَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى عِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ

✧ "When one of you eats and a morsel falls, let him remove whatever part of it is questionable, then eat it and not leave it for Satan. And none of you should wipe his hand with a napkin until he licks his hand, for a man does not know in which portion of his food blessing lies. Indeed, Satan lies in wait for the son of Adam at every occasion, even at his meal."
