حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ مَوْلَى بَنِي خَطْمَةَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ

لَأَنْ يَكُفَّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ عَنِ الْحَصَى خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ مِائَةِ نَاقَةٍ كُلُّهَا سُودُ الْحَدَقَةِ، فَإِنْ غَلَبَ أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَلْيَمْسَحْ مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً

Translation

  3. Shuraḥbīl b. Saʿd al-Anṣārī a freed slave of Banī Khaṭmahaʿan Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh
  4. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ If one of you would restrain his hand from the pebbles, it is better for him than a hundred she-camels, all with black pupils. If Satan overcomes one of you, let him wipe once.
