✧ A bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ and pledged allegiance to him upon Islam. The next day he came with a fever and said: "O Messenger of God, release me from my pledge," but he refused. He came to him three consecutive days, each time saying: "O Messenger of God, release me from my pledge," and the Prophet ﷺ refused. When he turned away, the Prophet ﷺ said: "Madinah is like a bellows; it expels its impurities and clarifies its goodness."
