✧ Umar b. al-Khattab brought a book to the Prophet ﷺ that he had obtained from some of the People of the Book. He read it to the Prophet ﷺ, and he became angry and said, "Are you confused about it, O Ibn al-Khattab? By Him in Whose hand is my soul, I have brought it to you white and pure. Do not ask them about anything, lest they tell you something true and you disbelieve it, or something false and you believe it. By Him in Whose hand is my soul, if Musa ﷺ were alive, he would have no choice but to follow me."
