حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَوَادَةَ أَنَّ مَوْلًى لِجَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ مَرَّ بِهِمْ وَهُمْ يَجْتَنُونَ أَرَاكًا فَأَعْطَاهُ رَجُلٌ جَنَى أَرَاكٍ، فَقَالَ: لَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَوَضِّئًا أَكَلْتُهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by them while they were harvesting arak (fruit) and a man gave him some harvested arak. He said: If I were in a state of ablution, I would eat it.
