حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

كَانَ يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَوَشِّحًا بِهِ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ لِأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ: الْمَكْتُوبَةَ ؟ قَالَ الْمَكْتُوبَةُ وَغَيْرُ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ

Translation

✧ He used to pray in a single garment, wrapping himself in it. Some people asked Abu al-Zubayr, and I was listening, 'The obligatory prayer?' He said, 'The obligatory and the non-obligatory.'
