Musnad Ahmad 15128

حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِشَهْرٍ: تَسْأَلُونِي عَنِ السَّاعَةِ، وَإِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللهِ، وَأُقْسِمُ بِاللهِ مَا عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ مِنْ نَفْسٍ مَنْفُوسَةٍ الْيَوْمَ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ.

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ say a month before he died: 'You ask me about the Hour, but its knowledge is only with Allah. I swear by Allah, there is no soul on the face of the earth today that will live a hundred years.'
