حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

عَرْشُ إِبْلِيسَ عَلَى الْبَحْرِ، ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ سَرَايَاهُ فَيَفْتِنُونَ النَّاسَ فَأَعْظَمُهُمْ عِنْدَهُ أَعْظَمُهُمْ فِتْنَةً

Translation

✧ The throne of Iblis is on the sea. Then he sends his detachments and they tempt people. The greatest of them in his sight is the one who creates the greatest temptation.
