✧ The sun eclipsed during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ on a very hot day, and he prayed with his companions, prolonging the standing until they began to collapse. Then he bowed and prolonged it, then he raised his head and prolonged it, then he bowed, then raised his head and prolonged it, then he prostrated twice, then he stood and did something similar, so it was four bowings and four prostrations.
