✧ I was in the shade of my house when the Messenger of God ﷺ passed by me. When I saw him, I leaped toward him and began walking behind him. He said, 'Come closer,' so I drew near to him. He took my hand and we went until he came to one of the rooms of his wives, Umm Salama or Zaynab bt. Jahsh, and entered. Then he gave me permission and I entered, with her behind the veil. He said, 'Do you have any lunch?' They said, 'Yes.' Three loaves of bread were brought and placed on a mat. He said, 'Do you have any condiment?' They said, 'No, except some vinegar.' He said, 'Bring it.' They brought it to him. He took one loaf and placed it before him, one loaf before me, and broke the third in two, placing half before him and half before me.
