حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ يَعْنِي الْعَدَنِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: أَيُّ الْإِسْلَامِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: أَنْ يَسْلَمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِكَ وَيَدِكَ.

Translation

✧ A man said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'Which Islam is best?' He said: 'That the Muslims are safe from your tongue and your hand.'
