حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَأَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ

نَهَى عَنِ الْمُخَابَرَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَبَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ، حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ إِلَّا الْعَرَايَا

Translation

✧ He prohibited mukhābarah (sharecropping for a portion), muzābanah (selling fresh dates for dry dates), muḥāqalah (selling wheat in the ear for pure wheat), and the sale of fruit until it is edible, except for ʿarāyā (gifts of fresh dates on the palm).
