حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ عَنْ يَزِيدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْهَادِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي

أَقِلُّوا الْخُرُوجَ بَعْدَ هَدْأَةٍ؛ فَإِنَّ لِلهِ [عَزَّ وَجَلَّ] خَلْقًا يَبُثُّهُمْ فَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نُبَاحَ الْكَلْبِ أَوْ نُهَاقَ الْحَمِيرِ فَاسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ.

Translation

  5. Balaghanī

✧ Reduce going out after nightfall, for Allah [Mighty and Majestic] has creatures that He disperses. If you hear the barking of dogs or the braying of donkeys, seek refuge in Allah from Satan.
