✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me on an errand. I went off, then returned after I had accomplished it. I came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him, but he did not return my greeting. He said: There fell into my heart what Allah knows best. He said: I said: Perhaps the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was upset with me because I was slow, so I greeted him and he did not return my greeting, and there fell into my heart what Allah knows, more intense than the first. Then I greeted him and he returned my greeting and said: "Indeed, nothing prevented me from returning your greeting except that I was praying, and he was on his mount, facing other than the Qiblah."
