حَدَّثَنَا حُجَيْنٌ وَيُونُسُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ

مَنْ رَآنِي فِي النَّوْمِ فَقَدْ رَآنِي، إِنَّهُ لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلشَّيْطَانِ أَنْ يَتَمَثَّلَ فِي صُورَتِي وَقَالَ: إِذَا حَلَمَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يُخْبِرَنَّ النَّاسَ بِتَلَعُّبِ الشَّيْطَانِ بِهِ فِي الْمَنَامِ

Translation

✧ Whoever has seen me in a dream has truly seen me, for it is not possible for Satan to take my form. And he said: 'If one of you has a dream, let him not inform people of Satan's playing with him in sleep.'
