حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

إِذَا كَفَّنَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَخَاهُ فَلْيُحْسِنْ كَفَنَهُ وَصَلُّوا عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ سَوَاءً.

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ When one of you shrouds his brother, let him make his shroud good, and pray over the deceased with four takbirat, night and day alike.
