حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى وَحَسَنٌ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ
مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَمَثَلِ السُّنْبُلَةِ تَخِرُّ مَرَّةً وَتَسْتَقِيمُ مَرَّةً، وَمَثَلُ الْكَافِرِ مَثَلُ الْأَرْزِ لَا يَزَالُ مُسْتَقِيمًا حَتَّى يَخِرَّ وَلَا يَشْعُرَ قَالَ حَسَنٌ: الْأَرْزَةِ
Translation

✧ The example of a believer is like a stalk of grain: it bends once and stands straight once. And the example of a disbeliever is like the cedar: it remains erect until it falls down without realizing it. Hasan said: the cedar tree.
