I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: A section of my people will not cease fighting for the Truth and will prevail till the Day of Resurrection. He said: Jesus son of Mary would then descend and their (Muslims') commander would invite him to come and lead them in prayer, but he would say: No, some amongst you are commanders over some (amongst you). This is the honour from Allah for this Ummah. (Using translation from Muslim 156)

machine translationḤammād b. Zayd narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Abū al-Rabīʿ al-Zahrānī narrated it from Ḥammād b. Zayd, from ʿAmr b. Dīnār, from Jābir, from the Prophet ﷺ. Al-Qawārīrī differed from him: he narrated it from Ḥammād, who said: ʿAmr narrated to me, or some of my companions from ʿAmr, from Jābir, as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf). Aḥmad b. Ibrāhīm al-Mawṣilī said, from Ḥammād, from ʿAmr, or it reached me from him, from Jābir, and he attributed it to the Prophet (raffaʿahu). Ibn Ḥassāb said, from Ḥammād: I heard ʿAmr, or I was told from him, from Jābir, as mawqūf. Isḥāq b. Abī Isrāʾīl said, from Ḥammād: I heard from ʿAmr, or my brother Saʿīd narrated to me from him, from Jābir, as mawqūf. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥasan al-Sulamī narrated it from al-Thawrī, from ʿAmr b. Dīnār, from Jābir, from the Prophet ﷺ. Likewise it is narrated from Abū Masʿūd al-Zajjāj, from Maʿmar, from ʿAmr, from Jābir, from the Prophet ﷺ, attributing it to him. It is sound (ṣaḥīḥ), and it is preserved (maḥfūẓ) from Abū al-Zubayr, from Jābir, as a statement of the Prophet (marfūʿ).
