حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقُولُ
غِلَظُ الْقُلُوبِ وَالْجَفَاءُ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَالْإِيمَانُ وَالسَّكِينَةُ فِي أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ.

✧ Coarseness of hearts and harshness are in the direction of the east, while faith and tranquility are among the people of the Hijaz.
