Translation

✧ I asked Jabir: "Did you hear the Messenger of God ﷺ say: 'Do not fast until you see the crescent, and if it is hidden from you, then complete thirty'?" Jabir said: "The Messenger of God ﷺ boycotted his wives for a month. He came down after twenty-nine days and said: 'The month is only twenty-nine.'"
