حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ

سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا ؓ عَنِ السُّجُودِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَأْمُرُ أَنْ يُعْتَدَلَ فِي السُّجُودِ، وَلَا يَسْجُدَ الرَّجُلُ وَهُوَ بَاسِطٌ ذِرَاعَيْهِ.

✧ I asked Jabir ؓ about prostration. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanding one to be upright in prostration, and that a man should not prostrate while stretching out his forearms.
