حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
إِذَا سَقَطَتِ اللُّقْمَةُ مِنْ يَدِ أَحَدِكُمْ، فَلْيُمِطْ مَا كَانَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ أَذًى، وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ، وَلَا يَمْسَحْ يَدَهُ بِالْمِنْدِيلِ، وَلْيَلْعَقْ أَصَابِعَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَدْرِي فِي أَيِّ طَعَامِهِ الْبَرَكَةُ.

✧ When a morsel falls from the hand of any of you, let him wipe off whatever dirt is on it, and not leave it for Satan, and not wipe his hand with a napkin, and let him lick his fingers, for he does not know in which of his food the blessing lies.
