حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ أَبُو النَّضْرِ الزَّعْفَرَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا: مَتَى كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي الْجُمُعَةَ ؟ فَقَالَ: كُنَّا نُصَلِّيهَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ فَنُرِيحُ نَوَاضِحَنَا. قَالَ جَعْفَرٌ: وَإِرَاحَةُ النَّوَاضِحِ حِينَ تَزُولُ الشَّمْسُ.

✧ I asked Jabir: 'When did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray Jumu'ah?' He said: 'We used to pray it with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then return and give rest to our camels used for carrying water.' Ja'far said: 'And the resting of the camels was when the sun had passed its zenith.'
