حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَبِثَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ. فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: حَتَّى إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَرْحَلُ مِنْ مُضَرَ، مِنَ الْيَمَنِ، وَقَالَ: [فِي] مُفَارَقَةِ الْعَرَبِ، وَقَالَ فِي كَلَامِ أَسْعَدَ: تَخَافُونَ مِنْ أَنْفُسِكُمْ خِيفَةً، وَقَالَ فِي الْبَيْعَةِ: لَا نَسْتَقِيلُهَا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ stayed for ten years. Then he mentioned the hadith, except that he said: Until a man travels from Mudar, from Yemen, and said: [in] separation from the Arabs, and said in the speech of As'ad: You fear for yourselves out of fear, and said in the pledge: We will not revoke it.
